Lean Principles

Course Description

Reduce inefficiencies and errors by implementing Lean Principles.

Lean Principles – 8 Hours

Description:

LEAN manufacturing is hot!  But did you know that LEAN is being applied to more than just manufacturing.  Now more than ever, organizations are faced with doing more with fewer resources in order to be more competitive.

While many organizations have implemented lean manufacturing techniques in their manufacturing operations, most have not applied lean principles to administrative, service, engineering, accounting, human resources, purchasing and other support functions.

For both manufacturing and support services organizations, this one-day seminar will provide you with an understanding of Lean principles, concepts and tools that will help you reduce inefficiencies and errors (waste) from your operations.  Learning will occur through lecture, discussion and group activities.

Logistics:

This workshop is application-based and engages participants through exercises and discussion.  The workshop concludes with development of action items for review by top management.

Benefits:

This workshop will be of great benefit to any organization that suspects that day-to-day effort just takes too much time and involves too many resources.  Companies that have started their path to Lean will also benefit by getting key players on the same page and agreeing on what steps are next to achieve the greatest improvements in quality, productivity and profitability.
